Gameplay of tower defense

Tower Defense is a strategy-based gamemode where you need be accurate in answering question and place the towers (i.e blooks) in such way that they can defeat oponents blooks.

After you complete each round, you have to answer three questions. Correct answers gives you a tokens, with a bonus for getting all three correct. And you can used those tokens in buying towers.

The mode also introduces enemy waves that increase in strength as rounds continue. The challenge comes from balancing which towers to buy, when to upgrade, and how to arrange them for maximum coverage.

On August 21, 2025, Tower Defense received a minor redesign. This update added confetti effects when answering questions correctly and made the gamemode resistant to hacks. The sequel, Tower Defense 2, received the same update.

Best Strategies for Winning

Experienced players use advanced strategies to handle later waves. One popular tactic is the Perma Stun, which relies on Wind Dragons and Mini Jesters. Mini Jesters increase the firing speed of Wind Dragons, keeping enemies frozen in place while other towers like Unicorns and Owls deal damage.

Another approach is the Master Elf + King combo. Players upgrade Elves into Master Elves early on, then save tokens to unlock Kings around wave 15. Jesters are added to boost the Kings’ attack power.

Some recommended upgrade paths are:

  • Pig → Blast Radius → Range → Party Pig
  • Dragon → Attack Speed → Attack Speed → Wind Dragon
  • Jester → Firing Rate → Range → Mini Jester
  • Unicorn → Attack Speed → Blast Radius → Crazy Unicorn
  • Owl → Speed → Speed → Agent Owl
  • Penguin → Damage → Damage → Emperor Penguin
