GimBucks are the main currency in Gimkit. Players use them to buy different Cosmetics like Gims, Stickers, and Trails. You earn them by gaining XP. For every 1,000 XP, you get 100 GimBucks. This makes playing and leveling up the best way to collect them.

How You Earn GimBucks
The amount of XP you can earn is limited each week. For normal players, the weekly cap is 15,000 XP, which equals 1,500 GimBucks. If you own a Season Ticket, your weekly cap will increase to 20,000 XP, which will let you earn up to 2,000 GimBucks. The weekly reset happens every Wednesday at 2:00 PM EST.
During the summer break, XP earning is paused by gimkit. This usually starts on June 14 and stays disabled until schools begin again. When that happens, players can’t gain new GimBucks until the system is re-enabled.

Extra Things About GimBucks
- In the past, some exclusive cosmetics were free, costing 0 GimBucks. These included items like Wish 6, Half-Dozen Celebration, Snowmuff, and High…Five. Later, their price changed to 800 GimBucks.
- Back then, GimBucks had a different color design, which looked more blue than the style players see now.
- A bug in Tag: Domination once let players teleport into the enemy base. This allowed farming coins until the daily limit was reached.
- Some cosmetics like Shamrock Sam or Clock-O-Matic appeared in the shop with higher prices than their normal range.
- In contrast, others like Raveena and Gobble sometimes cost less GimBucks than usual.
- At one time, players could AFK in Snowy Survival and gain about 50 XP per minute. This could even push players above their daily XP limit before the bug was fixed.
- A billboard for Stache Savings in the Blastball mode was the first place where the new GimBucks style was shown.
