Okay so I’ve been grinding Blooket for a while now and I’ve got dozens of Chromas. While I dont know everything about it but, I do know some important things for getting them because I’ve managed to get 21 Chromas in just one year which is pretty wild if you think about it.

Why Are They So Hard to Get?
So before we dive in, real quick, Chroma Blooks are literally the rarest Blooks you can get from obtainable packs in the whole game. Like these things do not just fall into your lap.
Most of the time yeah it comes down to luck, but there are actually some specific methods that seriously bump up your chances and that’s exactly what I’m here to walk you through today. So stick around!
Method 1: Buy Chromas Directly From the Weekly Shop (Easiest)
Okay so this one is honestly the easiest way to get a Chroma and I cannot stress this enough. Blooket drops 100% guaranteed Chroma Blooks through their shop a few times a year. They used to show up in the Market but now they’ve moved everything over to the Weekly Shop.
And no they are not there every single week, they just pop up under the Weekly Shop section only a handful of times throughout the year. So here’s what you gotta do:
Save your tokens. Seriously. Do not blow them on random packs just because you’re bored one afternoon. The Weekly Shop is literally where your tokens are worth the most because you are guaranteed to walk away with a Chroma.
Now I know you’re probably wondering when exactly these things show up and honestly that’s a really good question. From what I’ve seen Blooket tends to drop Chromas around specific seasons and events throughout the year:
Winter and Christmas around December is a big one. Blooket almost always drops winter themed Chromas during the holiday season so start watching the shop from late November.
Halloween in October is another one. Spooky Chromas tend to show up around this time so I’d say start saving your tokens in September just to be safe.
Spring and Easter somewhere around March and April has had some seasonal Chromas in past years too.
Summer around June and July is pretty common as well especially around the end of the school year when everyone is on Blooket way more.
The best habit you can build is just checking the Weekly Shop every single week no matter what. Chromas can pop up without much warning and if you blink you’ll miss the window completely and then they’re just gone. Set a phone reminder honestly, it takes two seconds and it’s so worth it.
Bottom line if you want a Chroma with zero gambling involved the Weekly Shop is your best friend no cap.
Method 2: Open Seasonal Packs Before They Disappear
So Blooket also releases these Seasonal Packs throughout the year and these are honestly so important to pay attention to. They are only available for a limited time and they come with brand new exclusive Chromas that you literally cannot get anywhere else. Once the season ends those packs are gone and the Chromas inside them are gone with it.
Here’s what I do: I watch for new Seasonal Pack drops and make sure I have enough tokens ready to go the moment they go live. Because these packs are on a timer you really cannot afford to sit around and wait. The second a Seasonal Pack drops with a new Chroma in the pool that is your sign to start opening packs.
Also something worth knowing is that the Chroma odds in Seasonal Packs can actually be a little better than regular packs sometimes because the pool of exclusive items is smaller. So your tokens honestly stretch further here than almost anywhere else in the game.
Never let a Seasonal Pack pass you by. If a new one drops just make it your mission to open as many as your token stash allows before it’s gone forever.
Method 3: Farm Tokens and Open Regular Packs
Okay so now we’re getting into slightly harder territory but this is still totally doable for anyone who’s willing to put in a little work. Opening regular packs is one of the most well known ways to get Chromas but most players honestly go about it the wrong way.
The biggest mistake people make is opening packs with way too few tokens. They save up like 1,000 tokens, open a couple packs, don’t get anything good, and then feel like the whole game is against them.
The game isn’t the problem. The sample size is the problem.
From my own experience, and again I’ve gotten over 20 Chromas in a year, I really think you should aim to have at least 9,000 tokens saved up before you start opening packs seriously. Why 9,000? Because Chroma drop rates are super low and opening two or three packs hoping for one is basically like buying one lottery ticket and expecting to win the jackpot. You need volume to actually let the odds work in your favor.
At around 9,000 tokens you’re giving yourself a real shot instead of just crossing your fingers on three packs and walking away with nothing.

Use the Blook Chance Checker Tool
So basically you go to the Blook Chance Checker, enter how many tokens you currently have, and it estimates how many tokens you’ll need to realistically get a specific Blook including Chromas. It takes all the guesswork out of it which I love. Instead of just blindly opening packs you actually have a data based idea of whether your token count gives you a real shot.
Quick heads up though: it’s an estimation tool not a guarantee. Drop rates are random so you might get lucky way earlier or you might need more tokens than it says. Use it as a guide not as gospel.
Here’s a quick token farming strategy to hit that 9,000 target faster:
Play Blooket every single day. Tokens add up way faster than you’d think when you stay consistent.
Prioritize game modes that pay out more tokens. Solo modes and certain competitive modes tend to give better payouts per session.
Do not open packs impulsively. Every time you feel the urge to crack a pack with only 500 tokens just don’t. Bank it and keep grinding.
Focus on winning. Better performance means more tokens per session, it’s that simple.
The grind is real but 9,000 tokens is absolutely doable for any consistent player and it gives you a genuinely good shot at landing a Chroma.
Method 4: Win Blooket Hosted Events (Hardest But Most Rewarding)
Okay so this last one is definitely the hardest method on the list but it’s also the most exciting one by far.
Blooket has hosted official events in the past where players can actually win exclusive prizes including Chroma Blooks. These don’t happen super often and they don’t follow any kind of predictable schedule, but when they do happen they are honestly your best shot at getting a Chroma that almost nobody else has.
Here’s what we know: Blooket has run hosted events before and while they haven’t been a consistent yearly thing there’s totally a chance they could bring them back at any point. Blooket is an actively developed platform and events are a great way for them to get the community hyped.
You can’t really plan for these the same way you can plan for the Weekly Shop. They’re unpredictable. Blooket might drop an event announcement with super short notice and if you’re not plugged in you’ll miss it entirely.
Here’s how to make sure that never happens to you:
Follow Blooket on all their social media, Twitter/X, Instagram, wherever they’re active. Event announcements tend to go out there first.
Join the official Blooket Discord. This is honestly the single best place to get real time news about events, updates, and anything going on in the community.
Check the Blooket website and dashboard regularly because sometimes announcements go live directly on the platform.
Stay connected to the Blooket community on Reddit and YouTube too. Content creators and community members spread the word fast when something big drops.
And when an event does go live? Go all in. These are competitive and the players who walk away with Chromas from events are the ones who actually showed up and grinded hard for the whole thing.
The Chroma you earn from a Blooket event is honestly the most prestigious one you can own because it is not something you can just buy your way into. It’s basically a trophy that says you were there, you competed, and you came out on top.
