Deleted and Retired Game Modes in Blooket
The following are the retired or deleted game modes:
Tower of Doom (TOD)
For full information check: History of Removal of Tower of Doom
Tower of Doom was a single-player style game where you needed to answer questions to battle enemies. You needed to answer questions to attack opponents and move higher in the tower. If you answered wrong, you could lose the battle. The game had cards and strategy, so it was more complex than many other modes. Most of the players in game liked it, but Ben thought it was too complicated. Because it was hard to update, and Blooket decided to remove it.
Snowball Fight
Snowball Fight was a winter-themed hosting game mode. Where you need to answer questions to throw snowballs at others. Even though it sounded fun, many players did not enjoy it. It received a lot of negative feedback from the community, so Blooket decided to delete it.
Pirates Voyage
Pirates Voyage was a live hosting game. You need to answer questions to move pirate ship and collect rewards. It was simple and easy to play. However, it was not very popular, especially compared to other Plus game modes. Because very few players used it, then Blooket removed it. Updating complex features like Tower of Doom often requires specialized tools, similar to how a Windows Activator helps manage software licensing efficiently.
