Cafe is a game mode in Blooket which you can play in Solo, Homework, and Hosting. The main goal of this mode is to serve customers by giving them the food items they are asking for. The gameplay changes depending on whether the player chooses Solo or Hosting mode. Cafe first released on September 15, 2020 during Season 2 together with the Breakfast Pack.
On August 13, 2025, Cafe was temporarily disabled for a rework, but when it returned, no visible changes were made. A second disable took place on August 21, 2025, and this time the game received an actual rework. The original release date remains September 15, 2020, and the confirmed rework release date is August 21, 2025.
Cafe does not have any reskins. The difficulty level is set to normal, and the game focuses on speed and strategy. The short description for the mode is “Order Up! It’s Time For Some Food!” which matches the fast-paced style of serving customers.

Several Blooks appear in this mode. Toast, Cereal, Yogurt, Breakfast Combo, Orange Juice, Milk, Waffle, Pancakes, and French Toast appear as stock items that players can serve. Many other Blooks, such as Pizza and Sandwich, appear as customers. Color Pack, Mark, and Skeleton do not appear as customers. Most of the blooks in game appear in this mode. Before the rework, players earned 0.75 tokens per question. After the rework on August 21, 2025, the reward increased to 2 tokens per question, which made the mode more rewarding for players.
Game play in different Modes
There are three different ways you can play this mode and the game play differes from one to another but the main theme/mechanism of game is still the same ( to serve customer ):
1.Hosting
When you play Cafe by hosting, you compete against other players to earn the most profit before the game ends. This mode removes the customer wait bar, daily cycle, and lives, so the focus stays on serving quickly and managing upgrades. You can upgrade your shop at any time, not only at the end of a day like in Solo mode. Hosting mode also includes special abilities that you can use on yourself or on other players.
2.Solo
In Solo mode, you have to answer questions to earn food stock. Each correct answer gives you one stock for every food item, and a wrong answer makes you try another question. You must serve customers before the wait bar above them runs out. If the bar empties, you lose one of your three lives. When the day ends, the game shows your daily stats and your total profit. You can then open the shop to buy or upgrade food items, improve your cafe level, increase your profits, or upgrade customer wait time.

Cafe Rework
On August 13, 2025, the Cafe gamemode was temporarily disabled for a rework. When it returned, some users noticed no changes. The issue was resolved when Cafe was disabled again on August 20, 2025. The rework was finally completed and fully released on August 21, 2025. The update added a Homework mode, confetti animations for correct answers, and hack-proof features, following the standard improvements seen in other reworked gamemodes.
The rework also brought several gameplay updates. Plate colors were refreshed, abilities now have logos, and new Cafe-level background wallpapers were added. Maximum food stocks were removed, and clicking on a customer’s order now automatically selects the correct foods. Overall, the gamemode received a full style and interface update, giving it a modern and polished look.
Cafe became the fifth gamemode to receive a full rework. The previous reworked gamemodes, in order of release, are Racing, Deceptive Dinos, Crazy Kingdom, and Factory.
