- Blackbeard, Jolly Pirate, and Pirate Pufferfish are the only pirate blooks that wear eyepatches.
- The name of Backbeard pirate ship was Queen Anne’s Revenge, which was originally a French slave ship named La Concorde. Blackbeard captured it in 1717 near the island of Martinique.
