Design a Blook Contest is an official event where students create an original character called a Blook. Participants draw their design on paper and submit it for review. One Grand Prize winning design is selected and turned into an official Blook. This Blook is professionally illustrated by the Blooket art team and released in May. After release, millions of players can collect and use the Blook in different game modes. The contest also includes multiple honorable mention winners selected by the Blooket team.

Who Can Enter
The contest is open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in any country. Entry does not require advanced drawing skills. The selection focuses on creative ideas rather than polished artwork. Any student who can imagine and draw a character can participate in the contest.
How to Enter
Participants must first draw an original Blook by hand on a physical surface such as paper. They can use any medium, including pencil, crayons, markers, or paint. After completing the drawing, they must take a clear photo or scan of the artwork and upload it through the official submission form. Each entry must include a name for the Blook and a short explanation describing the idea or inspiration behind the design. All submissions are reviewed by the Blooket team, and winners are selected without public voting.
Prizes
The contest includes one Grand Prize winner and multiple honorable mention winners. Honorable mention winners are featured on Blooket social media and receive a special in-game reward along with a Blooket Plus subscription, which can be assigned to the winner, a parent or guardian, or a teacher. The Grand Prize winner receives a professionally illustrated version of their Blook, an official in-game release in May, a featured spotlight story on the Blooket website, and bonus in-game rewards. The Grand Prize also includes a Blooket Plus Group Plan for the winner’s school, along with all rewards given to honorable mention winners. Prize details may vary depending on the winner’s location and service availability.
Timeline

The submission period begins on April 10 and ends on April 30. After the submission period closes, the Blooket team reviews all entries. Winners are announced in early May. The Grand Prize Blook is officially released later in May.

Winner Selection and Announcement
There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner and up to ten (10) Honorable Mention Winners selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All winners are determined by Sponsor or its designees through internal judging. There is no public voting. Entries will be judged according to the following equally weighted criteria (“Judging Criteria”): (1) creativity; (2) originality; (3) quality of the entry as a potential Blook; and (4) fun factor. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the skill of the entrants.
Winners will be announced at dashboard.blooket.com/blook-contest in early May 2026. Each winner is deemed a potential winner pending verification, including verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the first attempt to contact them, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.
Publicity Release
Each winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and publicity release that, among other things, will allow Sponsor to use the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, prize information, and biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation where permitted by law. Participation in the Contest constitutes your consent to Sponsor’s use of your name, photograph, likeness, and related information for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
License to Entry
By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that the entry is original; that it was physically hand-created by the student using traditional, non-digital media on paper or another physical surface; that it was not created, modified, or assisted in any part by any digital drawing tool or by any artificial intelligence or generative AI tool; and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party or violate any applicable law or regulation. Sponsor reserves the right to require Entrants to provide the original physical artwork and/or other proof of authorship to verify compliance with these requirements, and to disqualify any entry that Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, was created using digital or AI tools.
By entering the Contest, all Entrants hereby grant to Sponsor, Contest Entities, and any persons or entities authorized by Sponsor (collectively, “Authorized Parties”) an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display and perform, transmit, broadcast, and create derivative works of the entry throughout the world for any purpose whatsoever, in any format or media now or hereafter known, for no additional compensation (the “License”). This includes but is not limited to: use within the Blooket platform and services; display on the Blooket website and social media channels; incorporation into merchandise, physical products, and promotional materials; and any other commercial or non-commercial use.
Entrants consent to Authorized Parties doing or omitting to do any act that would otherwise infringe the entrant’s “moral rights” in their entries. Entrant hereby waives any and all rights of privacy, publicity, or other rights of a similar nature in connection with the entries. These rights are granted as a condition of, and as consideration for, Sponsor permitting participation in the Contest. Entrant grants these rights without requiring other compensation, remuneration, or approval.
Upon Sponsor’s request, each Entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days) a signed release from all persons who appear in the entry and/or from the owner of any material that appears in the entry. Failure to provide such releases may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
